In this study, we analyse the students’ performances while working on a teaching material that is designed to study some families of functions, through the mathematical modelling of physical phenomena and the use of iPads. This study is done following the theoretical and methodological framework of the Local Theoretical Models. Analysis of the resolution processes of threemodeling tasks

[EN] n this paper we present a comparative analysis of the resolution process of three modeling tasks per-formed by secondary education students (13-14 years), designed from three di erent points of view: TheModelling-eliciting Activities, the LEMA project, and the Realistic Mathematical Problems. The purposeof this analysis is to obtain a methodological characterization of them in order to provide to secondaryeducation teachers a proper selection and sequencing of tasks for their implementation in the classroom.
Coloring Linear Algebra

[EN] We present an example of how we can introduce basic concepts on Linear Algebra in a first course of an Engineering School. We use the RGB pattern color which allows us to decompose a color into three primary colors (namely, red, green, blue). By using this model we give a natural connexion between the additivity of the color decomposition and the notions on linear algebra (as vector space, linear combination and convex linear span of vectors). To visualize these connexions we use Geogebra.

En este trabajo de investigación se presenta un estudio exploratorio sobre modelización de problemas reales con estudiantes de cuarto de ESO. El objetivo del trabajo es explorar conceptos y procedimientos matemáticos elaborados por los alumnos relacionados con funciones de dos variables.
